Transfer gossip: Blues again linked with Rudiger
Some of the recent transfer speculation involving Chelsea.
Chelsea sent scouts to Dortmund to watch Antonio Rudiger in action against England ahead of a possible £30m bid for the Germany defender, the Mail say.
Manchester City and Manchester United are also said to be interested in Roma’s Rudiger, who has been linked with Chelsea during successive transfer windows.
Rudiger, 24, is said to be keen to quit Italy and move to England during this summer’s transfer window.
Bakayoko offer made, Mirror say
The Daily Mirror say Chelsea have made an offer worth £32m for Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The Monaco midfielder, 22, has been linked with a move to Chelsea since Oscar’s big-money transfer to China and the Mirror now say a bid has been submitted.
The newspaper declare that signing Bakayoko is Chelsea’s “top priority” ahead of the summer transfer window. He is reported to have refused to sign a new contract at Monaco.
Hammers again linked with Batshuayi
West Ham have again been linked with Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, this time by the Daily Mail.
It is claimed that Hammers boss Slaven Bilic, who has been tipped to sign at least one forward this summer, is considering a move for the 23-year-old Belgian.
Batshuayi has not started a Premier League match since his move to Stamford Bridge from Marseille last year.
The Mail suggest Chelsea might opt for a season-long loan rather than selling him.
Speculation over Sanchez continues
Arsene Wenger is willing to sell Alexis Sanchez this summer and Chelsea will consider tabling a bid for the Arsenal forward, The Times say.
The newspaper believe Manchester City are also considering a move for Sanchez amid reports Arsenal boss Wenger has accepted that the Chilean will not sign a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.
The Times also believe, however, that Paris St-Germain are most likely to sign him.
