Transfer gossip: Sessegnon speculation and Blues are linked with Uruguayan striker
There is yet more speculation over the future of Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon, with the Sunday Express now claiming that Liverpool are most likely to sign him.
The newspaper declares that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp “has jumped to the front of the queue” of clubs wanting to sign the 16-year-old.
Those clubs include Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City, the Sunday Express say.
Arsenal and Tottenham have previously made enquiries about the left-back.
The Sun on Sunday recently claimed that City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to sign him and the Daily Mail subsequently claimed that Tottenham are confident of a deal.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte watching Fulham’s recent FA Cup match against Spurs at Craven Cottage prompted reports that the Blues also want Sessegnon.
Meanwhile, The Sun on Sunday say Chelsea are leading a race to sign striker Joaquin Ardaiz, 18, from Uruguayan club Danubio.
And the Daily Star Sunday reports that Chelsea have told Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian that Diego Costa will cost a world record £127m.
The story is based on a tweet by a French journalist.
