Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…
Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia is the latest player to be linked with a move to Chelsea.
The Daily Mirror reckon Chelsea are considering a move for France international Kondogbia, who is out of favour at Inter.
Recent comments by the 23-year-old in the Italian press have led to speculation that he could leave the San Siro in January.
He was quoted as saying: “I want to be playing and to be happy.
“It’s normal that if the situation does not sort itself out, it would become difficult not to think about other things.”
Chelsea are considering letting Ruben Loftus-Cheek leave on loan in January, the Evening Standard say.
It follows a story in the Telegraph on Thursday which suggested that West Ham are interested in the 20-year-old midfielder.
He has fallen behind Nathaniel Chalobah in the pecking order and the Standard reckon Chelsea could be open to temporary move for Loftus-Cheek in order to give him more first-team experience.
The Telegraph say Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has struck up a friendship with Slaven Bilic that has led to the West Ham manager enquiring about a number of Blues players, including Loftus-Cheek and Dominic Solanke.
It is claimed the Hammers are looking to take advantage of this apparent relationship by signing at least one Chelsea player when the transfer window reopens, either on loan or permanently.
West Ham are also said to be interested in Cesc Fabregas and Chelsea’s back-up goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Branislav Ivanovic wants to sign a new contract at Chelsea despite interest from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Serbian defender’s contract expires at the end of the season and there has been speculation over his future.
And The Sun have picked up on reports that Ivanovic is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge despite losing his first-team place and apparent interest from Barca.
Chelsea plan to tie young defender Fankaty Dabo to a new long-term contract and then send him out on loan in January, the Mirror reports.
The England Under-20 international’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the season.
Vitesse Arnhem could sign Dabo, who recently turned 21, on loan in the new year, the Mirror say.
The Dutch outfit are said to be among the clubs interested in the full-back.
Chelsea could recall Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth in January, the Daily Star say.
The Dutch defender, 21, joined the Cherries on a season-long deal during the summer but has found himself behind Charlie Daniels in the pecking order.
With Tyrone Mings’ return from injury potentially about to limit Ake’s first-team chances further, the Star say he could return to Stamford Bridge.
