Meanwhile, Nemanja Matic has told Chelsea he wants to join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, according to The Sun.
Matic has recently been linked with transfer to United, where former Blues boss Mourinho has taken over as manager.
It is claimed that Matic has informed incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte that he wants to move to Old Trafford.
Chelsea have again been linked with Juventus wide-man Kwadwo Asamoah, this time by the Daily Mirror.
Asamoah, 27, played under former Juve boss Conte at the Turin club and has been touted as a potential replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta, who is reportedly wanted by Athletic Bilbao.
And Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who has been consistently linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, has told Gazzetta dello Sport it would be a “big deal” if Chelsea made an offer.
He is quoted as saying: “I’ve always stated what I want. I’m happy at Roma and that is where I see myself.
“On the other hand, an offer from Chelsea is a big deal and you have to take that into consideration.”
