Chelsea duo ready to sign new deals, Telegraph say
Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois are ready to sign new contracts at Chelsea, The Telegraph say.
Costa and goalkeeper Courtois have both been linked with potential returns to Spain in recent months.
Former Atletico Madrid striker Costa, and Courtois, who spent three seasons on loan at Atletico, were said to be open to the idea of leaving Stamford Bridge.
But the Telegraph now say the pair are happy under Blues boss Antonio Conte, who has persuaded them that their long-term future should be at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, the Daily Express reports that Andreas Christensen has ruled out a return to Chelsea this season.
Defender Christensen has impressed while on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach, prompting speculation that the Blues could recall him in January.
Christensen, 20, said: “We aren’t in talks with Chelsea. I’m staying at Borussia.”
