Chelsea boss Conte tipped to drop Ivanovic

Branislav Ivanovic is facing the axe for Chelsea’s game at Hull today, according to the Daily Mail.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is said to be planning changes in order to improve his team’s shaky defence and has been tipped to switch to a back three.

The Mail believe Ivanovic will be dropped for the match against the Tigers as Chelsea look to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat at Arsenal.

Conte is desperate to sign defender Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus when the transfer window reopens, The Sun say.

And there continues to be speculation over the future of Oscar ahead of the January window.

Italian press reports are again suggesting that AC Milan are keen to sign the Brazilian from Chelsea.

The Sun claimed earlier this week that Ivanovic and Oscar are among five players Conte is keen to sell.
