Keeper Cesar said to be ‘seriously considering’ move to Toronto

Julio Cesar is ‘seriously considering’ signing for Toronto FC on loan, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports yesterday suggested deal had been agreed for the Brazil goalkeeper, 34, to join the MLS club from QPR.

And the Mail say ‘insiders’ at Toronto believe Cesar could well end up moving to Canada in a bid to safeguard his World Cup place.

Meanwhile, there continues to speculation over the future of Ashley Cole, whose Chelsea contract at expires at the end of the season.

Comments by Blues boss Jose Mourinho have led to reports that he fears Cole will reject the offer of new deal and instead sign for New York Red Bulls.

And the Daily Express have an interview with former QPR and Chelsea star Gavin Peacock, who is now a pastor in Canada.
