Transfer gossip: Chelsea reportedly make offer for Swedish youngster

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea are favourites to sign young striker Alexander Isak from Swedish club AIK, ESPN say.

Isak, 17, is one of a host of overseas youngsters to have been linked with a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

Now it is claimed that Chelsea have made an offer and moved ahead of Paris St-Germain and Juventus to become favourites to sign him.

A source is quoted by ESPN as saying: “PSG have been in contact with AIK numerous times but there is no offer on the table right now.

“Inside the club, Chelsea are the favourites and have already proposed €11m.”

Solanke speculation continues

With Dominic Solanke’s representatives still trying to negotiate a new contract for the teenage striker, there is again speculation that he could leave Chelsea.

The Sun say number of Premier League clubs are interested in the 19-year-old, with contract talks having apparently stalled.

Solanke, who is in the final year of his current deal at the Bridge, had a loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem last season.

Blues linked with Caldara

The Daily Star have picked up on reports in the Italian media claiming that Chelsea are among Premier League clubs interested in Atalanta defender Mattia Caldara.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are also said to be keen on the 22-year-old defender.

There is also apparently interest from Juventus.
