Chelsea could secure the signing of Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, with Ashley Cole and Ryan Bertrand both leaving Stamford Bridge, according to reports.
Shaw has long been of interest to Chelsea as a possible long-term replacement for England international Cole, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
The Sunday People suggest Shaw will join Chelsea if they can offer him starting role, and that his arrival could lead to Bertrand moving to Liverpool.
The Mail on Sunday also say Bertrand could be Anfield-bound and that Cole is considering move to the MLS.
Elsewhere in the Mail on Sunday it is claimed that Cole, 33, could retire from football altogether after this summer’s World Cup.
The People say Inter Milan are keen on Chelsea striker Demba Ba, who has played down reports of a possible move to Arsenal.
And Paris St-Germain are again linked with a January bid for Blues star Juan Mata, this time by the Daily Star Sunday.
