Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Dimitar Berbatov from Fulham, according to The Sun.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been linked with a move for the Bulgarian since it emerged that Berbatov wants to leave Craven Cottage during this month’s transfer window. He has also been linked with a return to his former club Tottenham.
Fulham are said to be willing to cash in while they can, as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
Arsenal are currently without strikers Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner, who both have ankle injuries.
