Arsenal man can move on a free transfer this summer – report
Emmanuel Frimpong is in line for a free transfer to Fulham this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.
Whites boss Martin Jol recently suggested he would be interested in taking the midfielder on loan again next season.
But it is claimed that Frimpong is not part of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s long-term plans and can leave for nothing at the end of the current campaign.
The Mirror also report that Chris Baird is set to sign a new contract at Craven Cottage.
Meanwhile, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has doubts about reappointing Jose Mourinho, according to the Daily Express.
Mourinho has been touted for a return to Stamford Bridge, but it is claimed Abramovich is worried that past disputes between the pair could be repeated.
A source said to be close to the Russian is quoted as saying: “Roman is not sure of Jose, because of the history between the two of them and what happened before.
“He is worried that the same things could happen again. He’s still making up his mind.”
The Daily Star suggest Mourinho could be back at Chelsea as soon as this month if his Real Madrid side are knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United.
