Rafael Benitez is already coming under huge pressure from Chelsea’s board to turn things around, the Daily Mirror report.
The former Liverpool boss is unpopular among Blues fans and the team are yet to win since he was installed as interim manager.
It is claimed Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was furious after Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at West Ham, with Benitez’s tactics being called into question.
Avram Grant is being considered for return to Stamford Bridge for another spell as caretaker manager, according to the Daily Express.
The Daily Mail suggest Grant could work alongside Benitez as an adviser, as do the Daily Telegraph.
The Guardian also suggest Grant could join in a consultative role but say Benitez believes he still has Abramovich’s backing.
The Sun report that Benitez feels Chelsea lack leaders and character and is keen to restore injured stalwarts John Terry and Frank Lampard to the side as soon as possible.
QPR could move for Scott Sinclair in January, the Express say.
Former Portsmouth and Chelsea defender Tal Ben Haim could become Harry Redknapp’s first signing as R’s boss, the Mail reports.
And Metro say Esteban Granero can leave QPR for £5.5m if they are relegated this season.
