A sign of the times as Man Utd head to Stamford Bridge as 4/1 underdogs

It’s a huge game today at Stamford Bridge and Manchester United are 4/1 at BetVictor to beat Chelsea, with the Blues 4/5 and the draw 11/4.

There was a time not so long ago when I would have been sure it was a typo to suggest United were 4/1 to win any game.

David Moyes has never managed a side that have won away from home at any of the big four – and I can’t see him bucking that trend today.

The Red Devils have failed to score in their last three games against Chelsea and it is hard to see past a Blues win given how laboured United look in midfield and defence at present.

Chelsea are 29/10 to win with both teams scoring, and I do think United can score. A 2-1 (17/2) or 3-1 (16/1) Chelsea victory is the recommendation.

Fernando Torres has scored in his last two league games and, although he probably still has nightmares over that infamous miss at Old Trafford, the Spanish World Cup winner is 5/1 to grab the opener and 6/4 to find the back of the net for the third game in a row.

Chelsea are 10/3 to win the Premier League title behind even-money favourites Manchester City, with Arsenal 9/2 and 8/1 Bar.

We will be refunding selected losing bets on the game if there is a red card shown – and there were two brandished, both to Chelsea players, in the corresponding fixture last season.

Be lucky.
