Piazon’s loan move to Italy is confirmed

Chelsea have confirmed Lucas Piazon’s loan move to Italian side Chievo and have released Jhoao Rodriguez.

Piazon, who was on loan at Fulham last season, will spend the rest of the campaign playing in Serie A.

Colombian forward Rodriguez, 22, progressed through the ranks at Chelsea but did not make a senior appearance for the club.

He has been on loan at Tenerife and that season-long deal has been terminated, so he will now look for a new club as a free agent.
