Bees interested in Chalobah but West Brom looking to complete deal

Brentford are interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea.

The 22-year-old is discussing a move to West Bromwich Albion but other clubs, including the Bees, are also keen.

Chalobah spent last season on loan at French club Lorient, having previously had spells on loan at Huddersfield and Ipswich.


He is now set to leave Chelsea on a permanent basis, having been unable to break into the Blues’ first team.

He is the younger brother of Nathaniel Chalobah, who was also at Chelsea before moving on – in his case to Watford.
