Two for Nunn and Timmy Abraham as Chelsea youngsters beat Fulham
George Nunn and Timmy Abraham both scored twice as Chelsea’s Under-18s beat Fulham 4-3 on Saturday.
The hosts were 3-0 up within half an hour at the Blues’ Cobham training ground courtesy of Marcel Lewis’ early penalty and Nunn scoring after being set up by Thierno Ballo, who then netted the third.
Fulham’s Abraham – the younger brother of Chelsea striker Tammy – pulled one back for the visitors 12 minutes before half-time.
Nunn made it 4-1 with 15 minutes remaining – his second goal of the match and ninth of the season.
Fulham scored twice late on, with Abraham scoring again before an injury-time goal from Fabio Carvalho.
