Two of Chelsea’s academy players have signed new contracts with the club.
Goalkeeper Jared Thompson (pictured), who is currently on loan at non-League Chippenham Town, has signed a two-year deal.
Thompson, 18, was previously on Swindon Town’s books. He has represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 levels.
Meanwhile, defender Jack Wakely has been given a three-year deal – his first professional contract – after turning 17.
