Silva remains sidelined for United game

Thiago Silva is not ready to return to action for Chelsea against Manchester United on Sunday.

The veteran defender has been out with a thigh problem and hoped to return this weekend.



However, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Silva will not be available against United.

But Tuchel suggested that Silva is likely to return to full training next week.

“No, Thiago will not play on Sunday,” explained. 

“He did an individual session today, but a session on the pitch. 

“It was big progress and a big step for him. So I hope he will join the group next week.”
