Chelsea’s Palmer set to join Bristol City on loan

Kasey Palmer looks set to join Bristol City on loan from Chelsea.

Palmer, 22, is currently on a season-long loan at Blackburn but has only started 10 Championship matches this season.

That loan deal therefore looks likely to be terminated early, enabling Palmer to move elsewhere.

Palmer is due to undergo a medical at City and would become the third Chelsea player on loan there, joining Tomas Kalas and Jay DaSilva at Ashton Gate.

Palmer has not made a first-team appearance for Chelsea and a switch to City would be his fifth loan move.

He previously had two spells on loan at Huddersfield and spent the second half of last season at Derby.
