Terry to return for Chelsea against Walsall

Captain John Terry will be restored to the Chelsea starting line-up for Wednesday’s League Cup game at Walsall.

The 34-year-old skipper was left on the bench for the 2-0 win over Arsenal, with replacement Kurt Zouma scoring the opening goal.

But boss Jose Mourinho has said Terry will play against the League One side as the Blues begin the defence of the trophy they won at Wembley in March.

Radamel Falcao is also expected to start up front, with Diego Costa likely to be among the substitutes.

Walsall, whose squad includes former Chelsea youngster Milan Lalkovic and ex-Fulham keeper Neil Etheridge, currently sit second in League One.
