Terry offered new contract by Chelsea
Chelsea have offered skipper John Terry a one-year contract.
The 35-year-old, who had indicated that he expected to leave Stamford Bridge when his current deal expires at the end of the season, is considering the offer, a club spokesman said.
“With it coming so late in the season, this is a big decision for John and his family and it is something that they are now considering,” the spokesman explained.
He was made the offer during a meeting this week with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and chairman Bruce Buck.
Terry made his Chelsea debut in 1998 and has made more than 700 appearances for the Blues.
