John Terry will be allowed to lift the trophy if Chelsea win the Champions League.
The Blues skipper will be suspended for next month’s final against Bayern Munich following his sending-off in Barcelona.
But Uefa have given permission for him to be presented with the trophy if Chelsea are victorious, even though he will not feature in the match.
A Uefa statement read: “If Chelsea win the 2012 Uefa Champions League Final, John Terry will be allowed to lift the trophy and collect the medal.”
Vice-captain Frank Lampard, who is set to skipper the team in Munich, has made it clear that he would be happy for Terry to receive the trophy.
