Terry and Cole set to face QPR
John Terry and Ashley Cole are both expected to be fit for Saturday’s west London derby at QPR.
The Chelsea duo picked up knocks while on international duty with England but trained on Thursday and Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo believes they will be available for the game at Loftus Road.
Terry will be in the spotlight given that this weekend’s match will be the first encounter between the clubs since Chelsea’s captain was cleared in court of racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand in the corresponding fixture last October.
There has been speculation about whether Ferdinand and his R’s team-mates will shake hands with Terry and Cole during the traditional pre-match ritual.
Cole spoke as a character witness for Terry during the centre-back’s court case.
