Terriers eye loan deal for Chelsea youngster

Championship club Huddersfield Town are hoping to tie up a deal to sign Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer on loan.

Goalscoring midfielder Palmer, 19, was on Charlton’s books before being snapped up by the Blues in 2013.

The England Under-21 international played a key role in Chelsea’s Uefa Youth League triumph last season and netted 16 goals in all competitions.

He is yet to make his senior debut, and with Chelsea keen for him to pick up first-team experience a number of clubs have shown an interest in taking him on loan.
