Chelsea Under-18s continue perfect start

Daishawn Redan scored twice as Chelsea’s Under-18s maintained their 100% record this season with a 5-0 thrashing of Swansea.

Midfielder Billy Gilmour, a recent signing from Glasgow Rangers, put the visitors ahead in a one-sided game.

Juan Castillo hit the Swansea post before Martell Taylor-Crossdale doubled Chelsea’s lead before the interval with a penalty.

The young Blues scored three more in the second half.

Redan, a summer signing from Ajax, made it 3-0 before substitute George McEachran netted his third goal of the campaign and Redan struck again late on.

Jody Morris’ side have won all five of their opening games, scoring 14 goals in the process and conceding none.
