Southampton agree signing of Chelsea youngster Maddox

Southampton have agreed the signing of youngster Jacob Maddox from Chelsea.

Midfielder Maddox, 21, is set to join the Saints on loan for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent move.

The England Under-20 international was on loan at Cheltenham Town last season and a number of clubs have expressed an interest in signing him.
