Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri reiterated after his side’s goalless draw against Everton that he believes it will be difficult to keep up with Manchester City and Liverpool in the title race.
The Blues remain unbeaten under Sarri, who made history by becoming the first new Premier League manager to go 12 games without a loss at the start of his first season.
Chelsea are third in the table, two points behind Liverpool and four behind defending champions City.
And Sarri argued that those sides are on course for around 100 points this season, making them extremely difficult to challenge.
Sarri also admitted that his team have not been creating as many chances as they ought to with the amount of possession they have had.
“In the last three matches we created few goal opportunities in relation to how much we played,” he said.
“For example, in the last match in the Europa League we played 81 balls in the opponents’ box but we created only four goal opportunities and I think we can do better.”
