Reports in Italy are once again suggesting that Maurizio Sarri is on the verge of becoming Chelsea manager.
Antonio Conte has taken training since the players returned for pre-season this week but he is widely expected to be replaced as Blues boss.
Italian media reports have previously declared that an agreement is close between Chelsea and Napoli over a compensation fee for Sarri.
And Sky Italia are again reporting that the two clubs have almost come to an agreement.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis said: “Sarri is close to being new Chelsea manager. My lawyers are in talks with his lawyers to finalise everything.”
Sarri has been replaced as Napoli boss by former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti but remains under contract at the Serie A club.
