Redknapp wants Swansea job – and Terry

Harry Redknapp has put himself forward for the Swansea City manager’s job – and wants to sign John Terry for the Welsh club.

Redknapp, who has been out of club management since leaving QPR in February 2015, is interested in taking over at the Liberty Stadium.

And if given the job he would look to sign Chelsea stalwart Terry, whose contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season.

Terry, 36, is not expected to be offered a new deal and there has been speculation that Chelsea would be willing to let him leave during the January transfer window.

Swansea, one off the bottom of the Premier League table, are looking for a new manager after sacking Bob Bradley.

Redknapp, 69, spent just over two years at QPR. He has also been in charge at Tottenham, West Ham, Southampton and Bournemouth, and managed Portsmouth twice.
