Ramires signs new four-year deal with Chelsea
Chelsea midfielder Ramires has signed a new four-year contract.
The 28-year-old has played in six of the Blues’ 10 Premier League games this season, scoring in the 2-2 draw at Newcastle last month.
He also netted in the League Cup win at Walsall and has featured in all three of the club’s Champions League games.
The Brazilian’s previous deal was not due to expire until the summer of 2017 but Chelsea have moved to secure his future.
In total, Ramires has made 241 appearances for the Blues since moving from Benfica in 2010, scoring 33 goals.
The new deal keeps him at Stamford Bridge until 2019.
