Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says it is just a matter of time before Eden Hazard signs a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
There was speculation about the Belgian’s future during the summer, with Paris St-Germain among the clubs reported to be keen to sign him.
But he remains a key player for the Blues and Mourinho expects Hazard to put pen to paper in the near future.
Mourinho said: “He is a fantastic player. We have big hopes that he will go from a top player to become one of the best
“He’s a player we want to keep. It’s true Chelsea are trying to have an agreement for a new contract.
“It will be a question of time but it will end with a new contract. He wants to commit to us and we want to commit to him for the future.”
