Pedro taken to hospital after clash with Arsenal keeper
Pedro was taken to hospital to be assessed after being hurt in a collision with goalkeeper David Ospina during Chelsea’s pre-season friendly against Arsenal in Beijing.
Blues playmaker Pedro left the pitch with a bloodied face after the first-half clash and will be monitored over the next 24 hours.
Chelsea believe there is no serious problem and that he will be able to join them in Singapore, where they play Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
“He should be okay,” boss Antonio Conte said after Chelsea’s 3-0 win.
“He stays here and if the situation is okay he will come tomorrow to Singapore.”
