Oscar is a doubt for Chelsea’s game against West Bromwich Albion and John Terry is still unavailable, but Pedro and Nemanja Matic are likely to be passed fit.
Terry is still recovering from a muscular problem, while Oscar has gone down with an illness ahead of Albion’s visit.
Matic, who missed Saturday’s 3-1 win at Manchester City, and Pedro, who was substituted in that game after picking up a knock, have trained this week.
“John is recovering from his injury and now there is Oscar – he is sick,” Blues boss Antonio Conte revealed.
Conte plans to assess the fitness of Matic and Pedro ahead of Sunday’s match before deciding his starting line-up.
Cesc Fabregas will hope to retain his place after coming in for Matic against City.
“Matic is fit. He has trained with us since Tuesday and is fit,” Conte said.
“I have tomorrow to evaluate the physical situation of every player and then decide the line-up for Sunday.”
