Oscar appears to be close to a return to the Chelsea squad.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has been sidelined for more than a month with an injury he picked up in training.
He had hoped to return straight after the recent international break but is not being considered for selection for Saturday’s game against Everton.
However, Oscar is targeting a return against Arsenal the following weekend and could even be available for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
His only appearance of the season so far came in the opening-day draw at home to Swansea City.
