Jose Mourinho has praised Chelsea fans ahead of today’s match at home to Norwich.
The champions have endured a miserable season so far, having lost seven of their 12 league matches.
But Blues boss Mourinho says the support they have continued to receive means they have no reservations about playing in front of their home crowd.
“In some stadiums, in some clubs, when results are not good it’s the home stadium that plays against you a little bit,” he said.
“This is not the case here. We are having fantastic support. At home our stadium has been magnificent with the team.
“Instead of being a factor to disturb the team, I think it’s a factor to make the team feel comfortable.
“I think the fans are showing, to myself but especially the team – and the team is much more important than me – lots of respect.
“There are no short memories. They are showing great respect and support and we want to play at home.
“Stamford Bridge has been very good to us and that’s one more reason to give Stamford Bridge what it wants.”
Radamel Falcao is again unavailable after recently picking up an injury in training.
Mourinho believes the striker will return next month along with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is recovering from a knee injury.
