Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez is keen to tie up a permanent deal to sign Kenedy from Chelsea.
The Brazilian wide-man has impressed since joining the Magpies on loan in January.
And former Chelsea interim boss Benitez said at a press conference on Tuesday that he expects Newcastle to approach the Blues about a possible transfer for Kenedy this summer.
Benitez said: “Kenedy is a player that we like. He has been doing really well and we have to wait and come back and maybe talk with Chelsea about his future.”
