Charly Musonda and Kylian Hazard were the star performers as Chelsea’s Under-23s beat a Leyton Orient XI 1-0 on Tuesday.
Right-back Marc Guehi scored the only goal of the game during the first half after a through ball from Kyle Scott.
Earlier, Hazard fired into the side netting from a narrow angle and after the goal Harvey St Clair drew a save from the O’s keeper.
Charlie Brown shot over in the second half and Callum Hudson-Odoi went close, while the non-League side – who included some young first-team players – hit the post.
