Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has appeared to rule out a swap deal involving Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa.
Striker Costa has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid, where Blues keeper Courtois is currently on loan.
It was reported that an agreement had been reached between the two clubs.
“Thibaut is our player and I can only speak about him. Diego is not our player and I cannot speak about him,” said Mourinho.
And when asked if he believed Courtois, 21, would be at Atletico next season, he simply replied: “No”.
Mourinho has repeatedly insisted that he is not looking to sign a striker during this month’s transfer window.
