Jose Mourinho has played down reports that Chelsea could go on a spending spree this summer.
Offloading players such as Andre Schurrle and Fernando Torres has enabled the club to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, prompting speculation that they will now be able to make major signings.
Blues boss Mourinho has insisted he still sees no reason to make drastic changes, but some transfer business is likely.
He said: “Our transfer policy doesn’t need a lot of funds because we don’t need a lot of things.
“We like our squad, we like our players, and with a couple of exceptions we have a young squad.
“Once more I think our transfer policy will be nice and quiet and also a consequence of the players we sell and the funds we make.
“And I think we are getting great credibility with the players we sell because we sell good players.
“If you’re asking if I am happy with the squad, yes. If you’re asking me if there will be zero movement in or out, I don’t believe that because you always want to improve and there are always changes to be made.
“But it will be nothing really important and I am not worried about what funds we have.”
Mourinho has also refused to be drawn on speculation linking Chelsea with big-money move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
