Mixed injury news on Chelsea wingers for Man City clash

Callum Hudson-Odoi is a doubt to feature against Manchester City on Saturday because of a hamstring injury, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has said.

But fellow winger Christian Pulisic is available despite not going on international duty with the USA last week.

Pulisic sustained a knock in the win over Crystal Palace in the last Premier League fixture and came off soon after scoring the second goal in a 2-0 win, but is expected to be fine to feature against the reigning champions.

“Christian didn’t go and we had a full conversation with the USA and their medical team because we want to be honest and open and have respect,” Lampard said

But Hudson-Odoi has a hamstring problem he sustained while away with England.

“He will probably be out for the weekend,” Lampard said. “But we hope it’s only something short term.”
