Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran expects to move on a six-month loan in the next 48 hours.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the 19-year-old, who spent the second half of last season with Swansea City.
Middlesbrough are hoping to capture him, while the likes of Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton have also made enquiries.
“I’m talking to a few clubs and I think it’ll be sorted out very soon,” McEachran told West London Sport.
“For my career I think it’s important to play regularly and pick up as much experience as possible, and that’s what I’m looking to do.
“There are a few Championship and Premier League teams interested and it’s just about picking the right club for me.
“I’ll go for six months and then we’ll review it again and see what happens next.”
McEachran featured for the first team during the Blues’ recent trip to the United States but his short-term future lies away from Stamford Bridge.
He played for Chelsea’s development side in a pre-season friendly at non-League Kingstonian at the weekend along with Sam Hutchinson – who is a target for Nottingham Forest – and summer signing Thorgan Hazard.
“I hadn’t played the 90 minutes for a while so it was good to get a run-out,” said McEachran.
“I went to America with the first team, which was really good, and I feel like I’m fit and ready for the season now.”
