McEachran completes Boro loan move

Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran has completed his loan move to Middlesbrough, joining the Championship side on a season-long deal.

A number of clubs were interested in the 19-year-old but he opted for a move to Teesside and was persuaded to stay for the entire campaign.

McEachran recently told West London Sport he was in talks with several clubs and expected to leave Stamford Bridge on loan, initially for six months.

He said: “For my career I think it’s important to play regularly and pick up as much experience as possible, and that’s what I’m looking to do.”
