Marin close to finally leaving Chelsea

Marko Marin appears to be close to completing a move to Olympiacos.

Germany international Marin, 27, is in talks with the Greek club and looks set to finally cut his ties with Chelsea.

Marin was unable to establish himself as a first-team player at Stamford Bridge following his move from Werder Bremen in 2012.

He has started just two league matches for the Blues and it quickly became apparent that he was surplus to requirements.

The winger ended last season on loan at Turkish club Trabzonspor and was previously loaned by Chelsea to Anderlecht, Sevilla and Fiorentina.
