Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes Dominic Solanke wants to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the summer.
Reports on Friday claimed the 19-year-old, whose only taste of first-team action came as a late substitute in a Champions League game back in 2014, was target for Liverpool and Celtic.
When pressed on the striker’s future, Conte said: “Solanke now is a Chelsea player but I don’t know his future.
“I’m not sure, but I think this is his will [to leave].
“For a young player to stay in a great team as Chelsea is a great opportunity.
“I have spoken with him, to try to understand his will. But we have to respect every decision of every player.”
