Youngster Solanke wants to leave Chelsea
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes Dominic Solanke wants to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the summer.
Reports on Friday claimed the 19-year-old, whose only taste of first-team action came as a late substitute in a Champions League game back in 2014, was a target for Liverpool and Celtic.
When pressed on the striker’s future, Conte said: “Solanke now is a Chelsea player but I don’t know his future.
“I’m not sure, but I think this is his will [to leave].
“For a young player to stay in a great team as Chelsea is a great opportunity.
“I have spoken with him, to try to understand his will. But we have to respect every decision of every player.”
