Leicester boss says Chelsea looked tired
Leicester manager Claude Puel said Chelsea looked jaded in the 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge and felt his side deserved to win.
The Blues were second best for most of the game and, although they improved in the latter stages when the Foxes had Ben Chilwell sent off, Chelsea could not find the breakthrough.
“We deserved to win this game,” Puel said. ”We had a lot of chances in the game and we lost two points.
“We showed a lot of quality and played well. But if it were 11 v 11 I think we would have got the win.
“We played a good game, sometimes a fantastic game. Chelsea’s players looked a little tired, but our play had good passes and good shifts between play.
“It was amazing to see us show this quality against Chelsea – the champions.
“In the end it’s a little feeling of disappointment.”
