Leeds boss not expecting Brown to be fit soon
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa believes it will be some time before Izzy Brown is able to play for the Yorkshire club, reports Leeds Live.
Brown, 21, recently joined Leeds on a season-long loan from Chelsea but is still working on his comeback from a long-term knee injury.
The midfielder suffered cruciate damage in January while on loan at Brighton.
And Bielsa admitted: “It’s been a long time since he played, he still needs to recover.
“He hasn’t started to play with the ball, he hasn’t played football with us so far. It’s impossible to say when he will be fit. It won’t be a short time.”
Lewis Baker, also on loan at Leeds from Chelsea, is yet to start a league game this season.
