Fabregas among players left out of Chelsea’s squad for BATE game
Cesc Fabregas was a late withdrawal from Chelsea’s squad for their Europa League game against BATE Borisov after going down with illness.
Fabregas had a fever when the squad gathered for the trip and therefore stayed in London.
It meant that N’Golo Kante, who was going to be rested, was instead added to the squad at the last minute.
As well as Fabregas, Alvaro Morata, Marcos Alonso, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Victor Moses have been left at home.
But Eden Hazard is among those who have been included in the squad for the game in Belarus.
