Frank Lampard says Tammy Abraham is in “good” condition ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Everton.
Abraham missed the recent home defeat by West Ham after taking a bang to the hip against Valencia in the Champions League.
He returned to action – and scored – in Chelsea’s midweek win over Aston Villa but was substituted late on after picking up another knock.
Abraham has not trained fully since then but boss Lampard seems optimistic that the striker will be available for Saturday’s game.
“He’s good. He hasn’t done much in between our games so we will make sure in the morning, but he’s looking good,” Lampard said.
Meanwhile, Ross Barkley is back in the Chelsea squad for match against his former club.
The game comes too soon for Antonio Rudiger but Lampard said the defender “has had a great week of training” and is “on the verge” of a return.
