Chelsea have agreed to send goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan deal.
Courtois, 19, this week completed a medical at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea beat off competition from a number of European clubs to sign him from Belgian side Genk.
He has been touted as a possible long-term replacement for Petr Cech, but in the meantime is keen to play first-team football.
Atletico have been looking to sign a keeper since David De Gea’s recent move to Manchester United.
